Friday 28th, Day 1- Adventure day in XEL HA
This is an Eco adventure park where we will spend all day snorkeling and exploring the giant lagoon. There is cliff jumping, cave tubing, zip lining into the water and more. All food and drink is included on this excursion. In order to reach our creative center, we need to relax. This is the perfect opportunity to make some friends and have a little fun.
Saturday 29th, Day 2- The Dark World of pro photographer, Samantha Goss
Guest Speaker- Samantha Goss of Sleeping Awake Photography
Morning Class- Photoshop Composites
Evening Photoshoot- Sugar Skulls Theme
Samantha Goss is renowned for her darker themed work, that includes incredible Photoshop skills and a hint of whimsy. Learn how to manipulate layers to create a different world, editing and shooting with the intention to composite. Our evening theme shoot will be a dark Sugar Skulls and possible cemetery visit in the eclectic Mexican town.
Sunday 30th, Day 3 Mermaids Cave/Cenote Excursion
This day is led by one of Mexico's own cave/ travel photographers, Luis Ortiz.
He will be leading us on a private getaway to a cenote/cave in the jungle with clear water, where we will be shooting professional mermaid - Mermaid Hyli.
You may choose to go underwater with this, but you do not have to. Be ready to snorkel in the caves!

Monday 31st Day 4 -
Sunrise Bohemian Strolling Bridal Shoot
We will have an early bridal stroll beginning at the beach and ending in the middle of town. This will have a bohemian theme with a touch of Mexican tradition. All photos below were shot at the last HOF Mexico workshop during the bridal stroll.
The bridal stroll will end around 9 am. You may check out of the hotel after, or stay if you like.
Day of the Dead is highly celebrated in Mexico and is November 1st. You may opt to come early or stay an extra day and vacation. Please let us know in the form how many nights you would like. Thursday- Sunday night (4 nights) is covered in your workshop fee. Each additional night is $200 per room.
Price of Workshop- $1750 per photographer (Private room) $1500 (Sharing room two beds)

Transportation from Airport to Hotel- Not included, but there will be 1 optional transport bus for workshop attendees on the fly in date. If you do not choose to ride with everyone, you can easily arrange transport through our hotel.

Hotel- Aventura Mexicana: This is an amazing hotel in the heart of Playa del Carmen and two blocks from the beach. They use all eco friendly products and have regular yoga sessions, two pools, fabulous food and more. This is not an all inclusive hotel. It is a boutique spot in the most perfect location where you will have all the culture, nightlife, beach and tacos you like.
Payment- Payment is in 3 segments- a non-refundable deposit at signup and 2 more separate installments.

If you do not get a Paypal invoice, or are not contacted by us, you have not been registered. Do not make travel plans unless your spot is confirmed.
NOT SO FINE PRINT- As we all realize, the workshop activities are dependent on the weather. We have backup activities planned in case of rain, but will not be held responsible for original activities due to inclement weather, acts of God, death etc.
We are not responsible for the care of your camera gear. If you plan to shoot underwater, please buy proper housing.
