Details about travel- You will be flying into CUN, Cancun airport. Cancun airport is absolutely friendly and beautiful, as well as easy to navigate. You may arrange with the hotel to have a transport van pick you and your group up. The cost is easy to split. If you do not choose to do that, simply grab a taxi in the taxi line at the airport and they will bring you to the hotel. All the taxis are registered and there is nothing to fear from taking one.
Group- There will be a private Facebook group for this event. We will be giving recommendations on places to eat, where to party etc. Find some friends in there to catch up with before you go.
Money- Mexico uses pesos and there are ATMs everywhere to use your card to withdraw money. We do encourage everyone to get pesos before the trip.
How much extra spending money should I bring? You can make this as expensive or cheap as you like. It is not costly to eat or drink while out. We would recommend $150 for the whole trip for those that do not want to shop till they drop.
Children- We are not allowing kids in the main hotel, but have a partner family hotel. The pricing for that will be different. Details will be released on the family friendly hotel once we receive confirmation.
Details on the main HOF hotel- This is our home hotel in Playa del Carmen. All of our past events have been held here with great success. There are two pools, a jungle retreat like atmosphere, bar and restaurant. It is in the heart of the beach town and there are over 1500 bars/eateries/clubs and shopping steps outside the hotel door. You do not have to cross any main streets with traffic. It is all walking. The beach is located 3 blocks down. Please check out the hotel here. http://aventuramexicana.com/index.html
